What happens next
We read it the same working day. Where a profile is clearly false or someone has asked a member for money, the account is closed immediately and every member they contacted is warned.
We never tell the person who reported them. If we need more from you, we will write to the address you leave.
If money has changed hands
Tell us, and also report it at cybercrime.gov.in or on 1930. Matrimonial fraud is a criminal matter and the sooner it is filed, the more can be done. Never send money to someone you met here, however convincing the reason.
